Yo! Dave, welcome.

I don';t have a 680, but I simply use the 3m pads for all of mine, if that';s what you';re asking here?  Looking at Google images, that';s what most folk seem to have done.

Yea I did do the google search but also seen that there are a lot who mount it top plate and off center (left or right), I was toying with the idea of a block of firm foam in the center and have the FC sit on top of that making it easier to plug / unplug if I needed to while also maybe offering a good dampening mount for it, just thought I';d see what other options are used

Mine (APM) is on the top plate and then covered by a 690 Pro top

Just a word of caution, Naza';s have their own inbuilt vibration dampening, so actually benefit from being securely fastened to the frame plate.  With my Wookong M, I even have a cable tie firmly around the IMU, belt and braces so to speak, as it did come loose once.

I bent my knife getting the Naza off the F550, I thought either the case was going to crack or the top plate would, then I let it see what was going to be its new home. it gave a "Pop" sound and was free lol

So my 690 pro has a small piece of carbon that is supposed to be stood off from the bottom plate.

i removed it and put my PDB in its place, i then mounted the flight control to this board (and the miniosd to the bottom) and bolted it to the top board!!

While I was waiting for kit to turn up I decided to flip the top and bottom plates, which to be honest I am glad I did as it let me tidy a few things in the process

OOOH!  You got pics?   I spent yesterday trying to get the Naza into the hole in the middle of the frame, with the motor connectors and the LED/EXP grey cables in position. And I ended up with a cable tie around it too.

I had hoped to get it up onto the same level as the top plate - but couldnt easily/quickly find a plate that would screw on for me to use.  It';s in now - jeez I hope I dont have to change wires too often now!!
