Hi.
I have been trying to get my Eachine ET 200 working with the Boscam RC305. I have checked the LCD screen is working using output from a dvd player and it is all good. Using on of the DIY goggle kits. As pointed out I am new to this game. I have connected the power supply for the Eachine camera and transmitter to the vtx power plug / balancing plug of my 11v lipo battery. Is this correct. I thought I may have fried it for a while as the circuit became quite hot while I was trying to get things going. On looking at the instructions the voltage requirements is not all that clear. Ah hang on think I am ok. On further inspection I am thinking that the transmitter takes up to 23v and then outputs 5v to the camera. So should be ok. Is it normal to power your FPV via the balancing plug of the lipo battery? Anyway if I have not fried it then it looks like I am getting the pairing wrong. I found some switch setups on the RC305 that were included on the matrix of frequencies on the instructions for the Eachine transmitter but all I get is white static with some response if I wave my hand around in front of the camera. Any ideas?

The Boscam RC305 is an 8 channel receiver. It receives the following frequencies:
CH1: 5705
CH2: 5685
CH3: 5665
CH4: 5645
CH5: 5885
CH6: 5905
CH7: 5925
CH8: 5945
The Eachine ET 200 is a 32 channel transmitter.
Band A : 5865,5845,5825,5805,5785,5765,5745,5725
Band B : 5733,5752,5771,5790,5809,5828,5847,5866
Band E : 5707,5685,5665,5645,5885,5905,5925,5945
Band F : 5740,5760,5780,5800,5820,5840,5860,5880
You have to make sure the transmitter and receiver are on the same frequency.

Hope that helps?
I try :-)

You don';t need to supply voltage from the balance plug, just cut that plug off and solder the pos and neg directly to your battery input on your board? You get the wiring loom with  the kit (or you should do?) It has a sticker on the side showing what each input/output is. I believe that the et200 (I think I have the same) can output 12v and 5v depending on your camera and you may have to swap a couple of wires around for the + of your camera (again you really don';t want to be putting 12v in a 5v camera!)

I found that the channel frequencies of the boscam rc305 and those of the et200 did not match up. So even though according to the literature they where supposed to be on the same frequency they wasn';t. Had to do a lot of fiddling with dip switches etc until they matched.

I';ll let you know what I have set when I get home from work if you haven';t sorted it out beforehand.

Ok thank you both for the help. However I found what the issue was. The system had been working all the time. The problem was caused by a loose connection between the screen and the receiver. I was using a male to male adapter. Works when you swivel it around a bit but just gives static if you do not. I am going to cut and solder the cables with a bit of shrink sleeving. Went through checking everything until I moved the setup and suddenly the screen burst into life. It was the $10 RCA connector from Dicksmith that let me down. All good.  :blink :wack0  :beer2:
