some car racers use those as the wattage is fine for doing one 5000mah quickity quick or running a solder iron etc. they do need a plastic case made for them though, and also require you to solder on mains connectons so a bit of work required.

they sell them on ebay as well but thats a nice price from BG

i';m guessing the red/blue is the 5v rail and ground and used to switch it on , thats what I did and its still working after a year or so

I';m using an Xbox 360 power supply for my charger too, it trips out with a red light at about 14 amps load, but at 12 amps its happy running all day silently

I use a DPS 1200 FB-a supply, 1200w 100a and was easy to get running, simple solder a resister across two pads and add your output connectors.

Also using the same as slobberdog57 connected to a 308 duo. Most ive pulled out of it is 40 amps and it was happy as larry!
