hi guys i currently fly a cheerson cx20 with a mobius on the anti jello mount and looking to try some fpv could anyone point me out which starter /mid range monitor to buy also a rx for the quad ,one last thing how do you put up wanted adds in the classifieds

slurm

you need to have over 30 posts for access to sell in classifieds,

you got 2 easy options for FPV, quanum goggles on www.hobbyking.com or fatsharks v2

I quite like the quanums but only tried to use them a few times
ZMR 250 carbon frame, emax mt1806 motors, mystery 12a ESC, Flip32+, 5040 props
9x transmitter

I have been looking and found this kit for £43 delivered. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/RC-FPV-Combo-5-8Ghz-FPV-System-with-Boscam-5-8G-200mw-AV-Transmitter-Receiver-HD/32302685576.html?spm=2114.32010308.4.272.W0F8cZ
It includes video tx, rx, small camera, a 7" monitor (I guess it will blue screen if it has poor signal), a monitor hood and cables. It uses Boscam stuff so only 8 channels and not sure about compatibility if you go for Fatshark or Skyzone goggles in future? I have a pair of low def goggles that I am going to try so a monitor is just for spectators :)

I have not tried it yet but I am tempted to give it a go. You can also get a monitor mount for about £5 that affixes the 7" monitor to your tx.
I would be interested to hear any ones opinions of the kit bearing in mind it';s cheap price.
I try :-)

I can';t afford tarty stuff  ::) ::) ::) Mine will be a rats nest of cables

I have a small budget and I am trying to get way too much stuff for my first real quad
It';s easier for me to get cheap and hopefully cheerful stuff and when it fails or is not great I can probably get the budget to replace with better components  ;D
That is providing I get addicted which is a near certainty  ::)
I try :-)

keep us posted about this, interested also as I used to have fatshark pred v2 setup which was neat, worked well but I didnt get on with the goggles too much, I felt claustrophobic and really didnt like not being able to just look up and around me easily. So I sold them. Now looking to move to a screen/vtx/rx setup.

Intrigued by the cheap kit option!

There';s no reason why that Ali express set up couldn';t be tidy. It';s never going to be as tidy as a pair of goggles with built in rx, but if you can solder just need to cut all the wires to lengh. Mount the rx to back of monitor with velcro or glue mount monitor on to your transmitter. There are mounts for this on hobbyking and probably ebay. Will need an external lipo for monitor and rx, hopefully they';re both 12v so con be done by one 3s lipo also mounted to back of monitor. I';ve never done any of this but it can';t be too difficult
