Hi,

Can anyone shed a light on what the problem might be?

To explain; my Tarot 960 which I';ve had for nearlly a year now has suddenly started having major issues with YAW. When I apply rudder the hexacopter swings voilenty foward and back, left and right, then regains stability. When I YAW to the left as soon as i left go of the rudder on the controller the hexacopter stops rotating dead in it';s tracks instantly, however when i YAW right it will continue to rotate for a good second or two, this happens every time!

I';m using a DJI A2.

If it';s been fine up untill now and there have been no software or hardware changes to cause it i';d start looking for a failing motor or ESC i think...

Yaw trouble like your having, can also be down to a Motor/s out of alignment, eg, twisted slightly, i once had a similar problem, but mine was yawing to the left, let go, it just carried on a bit then settled, to the right, it would stop dead as soon as you let go, after scratching the head for ages, i noticed a motor mount had moved slightly, put it right, and the yaw issue was sorted.

Thank you both for your posts, i';ll investigate my motor mounts then look at ESC';s :)
