Y6 clearance issues.

Hey peeps.

I';m messing with some old bits and thought I would try to make a Y6 with my old Tri frame. All is sweet apart from clearance issues on the lower motors.
I bought a 450 heli skid, and even with 14mm carbon tubes as spacers, it isn';t enough. With the Heli skids and spacers I have about 50mm from bottom deck, I';m after something more like 80-100mm, but it can';t be too big otherwise it will foul the lower props.

Does anyone have any recommendations for skids, or such? Obviously, I don';t want to spend a fortune because I';ll smash it up in about 5 minutes.  ::)

the single leg type will give more clearance, or move the double legs closer together. i have some hobbyking double legs on mine, but i';m considering moving them close together for improved clearance.
440 Y6 with vector, F330 quad with naza, hammer 240 with flip32, and watch this space.
