Hard mount FPV camera?

I want to try fitting my camera to the front of my 250 quad.

There is a specific bracket to mount the camera, and this will then be trapped between the decks to hold it in place.

Do you bolt the camera straight onto this bracket, or do you use some form of vibration rubbers to isolate the camera?

I was looking at the you tube video of how to make a power filter for FPV and that shows the camera mounted on rubber isolators.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDUoxsMpfYQ

If you use these fittings, where can I get some please?

Any help gratefully received.

Cheers
Andy

hard mount it, for some reason fpv cams don';t suffer from jello as much as hd cams. i hold mine on using 8 cable ties. i thread one through each of the holes in the camera board then through the mounting plate holes. then cut the end off another 4 cable ties (the bit you loop the cable tie back through) and push this down the cable tie locking your fpv cam to the mounting plate. this way you can put spacers between the cam and mounting plate to get some tilt on your camera. i use nylon stand offs cut to desired length on top 2 zip ties to get around a 20deg tilt

M2 nylon nuts and bolts and some nitro fuel tube work well too.

it just makes sense

Excellent, I have some suitable nylon fittings I can try, and useful to be thinking about having the camera tilt down slightly.

Many thanks indeed folks! ~~
