I have one of these that I';ve only just got around to using. I am using an sj4000 inverted so I can access the usb out for fpv. Whenever I connect my battery my gimbal just freaks out and goes crazy. I have tried connecting it to my computer but after a couple of seconds being connected the software says it is not responding and closes.

Yesterday it was levelling fine but constantly vibrating.

Any ideas please before I throw it out the window.

Think I saw some forum comments about SJ4000 weight vs goPro 3 weight.  56g vs 76g could be this causing some of the issue?  Maybe try adding 20g of weight to the camera to see if this helps

Sorry changed privacy settings now.

Here is a screenshot of where the software thinks the camera is when it is level. Then 5 seconds later the software crashes and says it';s not responding.

I';ve sorted the main problem out and it';s levelling now. I hadn';t updated the motor firmware aswel. I have done the and calibrated the sensors and all it good.

I can still only get the software to stay open for 10seconds or so before it crashes.

I want to change the mode of the gimbal control to positional rather than rate but the gimbal just keeps disconnecting and crashing.

For software crash couple of other threads I found mention using ';run as administrator'; for the software and also checking the heatshrink on the connector as for one person it was stopping the com cable from being fully seated.
