Align G3-5D problems

I have a Align G3-5D custom fitted to a DJI S1000 and using a Nikon D5300/Samyang 14mm T3.1.

The gimbal is balanced as in the camera will stay in all positions i place it in.

I have 2 issues you knowledgeable people might be able to help with, problem 1 is a oscillation/vibration when tilting the camera down but only when the top plate is fastened and the 2nd which I think might be part of problem 1 is that in tilt the gimbal sort of twists/lifts on one corner although you the video might offer a visual explanation better.

I would say the frame vibration on tilt is directly through the frame due to too much power to the tilt motor, it will not show as obviously until you screw it up tight.
You possibly need some more weight on the lens hood (dampening weight) which some on FB are having luck with. Also some are using dynamat on the frame tubes as the motors can generate vibrations in the frame esp when lighter camera/lens combinations are used.
As to the roll when tilting? Is the frame/motor true?
In v2.1 gimbal software there is a parameter to correct roll on tilting, from memory its the last screen.

got rid of the vibes by pushing the bar against the ring and tightening it instead of tightening the ring back towards the camera.

Will give it a fly and test it out tomorrow :)

Got 2.1 and now we cant connect to the bluetooth...nice work Align! :)

Shackflyer we are havin a roll issue with our G3-5D it rolls to the left and slowly moved level

Do you tune this out in the PID?

We had to tilt the camera down to get it to stay level, but if I do a 360 on the gimbal the camera tilts up and down and rolls slightly left to right really strange.

Will post a video if your not sure, thanks.

set the neutral point so the horizon is level but one turn of the gimbal puts it out again
