thoughts on this camera??

I am looking at adding this camera to my 250 quad with the 250mw fatsharks vtx.

It';s ntsc. It also runs 5v

Would this be ok or does anyone have this? I know you can get it in pal version but I am buying it from the UK and it';s NTSC. The seller';s assure me it';s ok.

the ntsc thing is no real bother, what worries me is that if it';s like the one I got from BG, it';s reaction times to changes in light condition is very slow.  I found it unusable for fpv, altho the image quality itself was pretty good, as long as it was pointing either at the sky, or the ground, not both!

It says in the spec that it can be set to pal or ntsc . It also says that it';s hd, which it isn';t. 720x576 in pal and lower in ntsc .
Having said that, quality isn';t all about resolution. You mostly get what you pay for. And while these little cameras are brilliant, can';t compare to the likes of the gopro line up. For fpv it might be just what you want, and it';s cheap enough to risk.

Cheers guys. Found a vendor the the uk that sells the pal version.  Just over 20 quid. Will post the results when I hook.it up.

Out of interest agrs1974, where abouts in the UK did you find it for £20? I could do with another cheap camera and always happier to order from UK.

There';s a very similar looking camera on banggood hk that is being sold as official part for the tarot 250, it';s £10 ish. I';ve ordered one cos I';m not going to spend more than that with the hardcore camera placement on those things.

any updates on this camera, looking at identical camera';s I think, but be good to get some real world feedback on these before purchase?

I am looking for a small camera to fit within a limit space and this seems to fit the bill.

Yes I bought it Benno.  I bought the pal version but.

I am going to order another for my tbs. Very good camera for the price. One thing I didn';t like is that you have to mount the camera on to the frame with the small plastic piece flat against the frame.  You can';t cut it off to make it flush as it';s got a Screw through it. This is for the case mounting. Hope that helps.

Banggood is totally fine, never any issues there, im a bit the same though, im always wary of HK ordering .

I have only used the Banggood uk site and not the HK. Don';t mind paying a bit more to be honest and like to try and keep UK companies going.

Personally i would prefer to have just ordred my new frame from the UK, but no one stocks them here, like my current frame, overseas, it was in GBP 75 quid, yet here in the uk, was marked up at 225 quid, UK stores simply put to much of a mark up on many things, i used to believe the excuse " well after impoting we dont have much margin" some things maybe, but after seeing what the costs were on some frames and especially the Wookong cost to import at the time, many places literally are doubling thier money.

I agree with you mate. I don';t mind a slight mark up as long as its no greed involved. To be honest most of the UK companies are fine. What frame did you get?

my WKM is currently on the XAircraft 650 frame, which has been fine, and still is, But ordered the Daya 550 a tad smaller plus it folds up better for the Holidays :)
