You could be wasting your money!
Rant: HobbyKing';s miniquad stuff: http://youtu.be/ijIzbK0vYtU
Bruce can be irritating at times but he does tell it how it is in his reviews!

Out of 8 Multistar 1704 motors I have had (bought 4, had 3 die - refunded, purchased 4 more) only 3 are what I';d consider usable. The rest sound like a bag of spanners. No amount of lubing or fettling will make them run smooth :/ He';s right about the glass shafts, even had one let go in the air, with a total flight time of <30 seconds on that motor!

DYS BE1806 however, have been great and survived being abused with aplomb

Bruce does like a bitch lol. Those multistars are crap, he';s right on that one, they do have shafts made of chocolate.

All good points but I have to disagree about the FPV250 frame. I managed to get a full FPV setup on mine including FPV camera AND mobius, flew like a dream. Upgraded to the long frame, underslung version and that flew well too. As an entry point to mini quads and indeed FPV it';s hard to beat on price, tough as nails too.

Never used their motors, but the Afro ESCs have served me well.

With regard to BLHeli, I flashed my afros with it on a whim, significantly less power than the SimonK they shipped with!!!

He is right about their other frames, bought a Dart 250 with the clean and dirty setup. Flexed like paper and flew it for one session before scrapping it for a ZMR!!!

don';t think i';ve ever heard a good word said about the multistar kit!

I';m also going to have to disagree with the diatone FPV250 frame comments, granted i had the extended version but it most definitely didn';t break when i sneezed on it, nor when it went into "brimstone" mode  how it didn';t break i will never know! great little quad loved it...............love my carbon pro more though ;)
