FC fail safe and radio fail safe??? What should I do??

Am I correct in thinking you only set up fail safe on mission planner for the FC and ignore the receiver fail safe? Crius board and APM 2.6 board.

I am thinking this, as if I set up fail safe on the receiver to be low throttle and all other sticks in neutral as I would do for a plane then the board will try to fly this set of parameters which probably means for my hex all the motors going to 1/2 power bar the ones taking info from throttle channel which will shut off???
Does this make sense???

Am I correct or should I be doing something completely different??

Cheers,
John
