Grabbed one of the mini hex frames off of Phil along with some motors and props.  Have to say it is pretty nice and goes together nice and easy.
I made some spacers for the centre plates so I could stuff the ESC';s between them, looks less cluttered and keeps them out of harms way.  Also cranked out a case for the naze and an antenna holder for the D4R on the 3D printer.

Running gear is as follows.

Motors:    Emax 2204 2300kv
ESC';s:      12amp Afros
FC:           Naze32 Acro
VTX:         Immersion 25mw
FPV Cam: Have a PZO420 board camera on the way.

Will post some videos once I get it in the air.

Looks great, been looking at one as a Christmas treat.

Any idea what weight you are running at, do you think this would lift a go pro slung underneath?

Any video?

With a 2700mah 3s battery it is coming in around 800g, it is a little chunky but with the motors and props I have on there I have no shortage of power.  A gopro should not be an issue, I would stick with a 2204 size motor though.  I imagine with a slightly smaller battery like a 2200mah you would get a pretty lively craft for a gopro.  I wish I had some info on flight times but I have not had a chance to take it for a proper flight yet.

Looks suspiciously like the spider hex from blackout :)

That';s my new spider. (http://www.multi-rotor.co.uk/index.php?topic=10161.15)

GoPro + 3300mAh battery give 7-8 minutes flight time.

600g* without battery
850g* with battery
GoPro is attached to big hex at the moment, but just add it';s weight on  ;)

(*ish, my digital luggage scale only measures in 10s of grams)
