New Controller FYI-DOS

It looks rather interesting - and  quite a keen price point too ...

I also pulled down the manual for it, attached to this post, the English isn';t too bad at all 

There aren';t too many YouTube videos so I';m guessing this hasn';t been around that long. Although with version 2.02 firmware it does suggest a fair bit of development.

now we are in 2.22 vers 
on top of that you can use rctimer gps with good baud rate so the price become more and more interessing..
for me i bought one from gbl which cost less than 85usd free shipping and i use my rctimer gps with it!
so for less than 100usd you have a good flight controller!
i hope fy, will improve during a long time this great fc..with some few improvement, it could be better or equal than dji!
without wind  my dji lite and my dos are same performance and it s incredible for the price

The only negative that I can find with this FC is that it does not appear to have a Failsafe mode.  I have read the manual cover to cover and not found mention of a Failsafe.

That to me is not necessarily a deal breaker, but it is something that I think is becoming absolutely essential.

I';m a neewbie to multirotors and about to finish my first build. It is a F450 with FY-DOS Controller. The problem I came across is that I don';t know how program the 3 pos switch on my Orange Tx to switch between the fyl modes?
Can anyone help please?

what exactly are you stuck with??
i use one of these in my training plane,i have to use the 2 switch method..
multis its just the one switch if the firmware has been updated..
do you know the firmware version??

Problem solved.
Like I was saying, I didn';t know how to make to worke the 3 position switch on my Orange T6 radio, to switch between the flight modes of FY DOS. The proble was that the GYRO values ware set to 0% in all switch positions on the TX, so all I had to do is change them to 100%.

I have managed to calibrate to gyroscope and decided to give it a go in my garden and here another problem. The copter is trying to fly in the left direction. It didn';t quite teke off but the right side is taking quick of the grount while the left stays on the ground.
Engines are spinning in the rigt directions, gyroscope calibrated, so what can be wrong with it?
I havent connected the GPS yet, but it should also be able  fly without it?
