I';m building a 680pro  and have 5 or 6 6s 3000mah lipos.  Fairly new to quads but it seems that most are flown on 4s as yet I haven bought esc '; s or motors so can pick according to voltage. Can anyone give me advantages/disadvantages of each set up before I potentially make a costly mistake
Thanks

6S is potentially more efficient if you choose the setup to go with it.
When you get into the realms of bigger higher cell count batteries cost is a big consideration so having some that could be connected in parallel to give higher capacity is a good start. There are quite a few on here using bigger rigs on 6S who will be able to advise better than me - good luck!
