DJI Zenmuse H3-3D

So I have been looking into this gimbal and have read all about the issues with the ribbon cables

What I have not seen is if DJI are going to be releasing a cable as a separate purchasable item.
Is this available as a separate cable?

Anyone think there will be a version 2 with new type of cable
I am not ready for a gimbal yet and hope that this cable issue is sorted in the near future.

I run mine with an external gopro3 usb video cable. Sucks but the ribbon cable is utter garbage. Was uber careful with mine having read how easy they break, it last 5 unpluggings.

I agree the ribbon cable is rubbish, but it';s useful life can be lengthened with a bit of care. The most pressing issue with the DJI H3-3D gimbal however is the spontaneous ';yaw-left'; bug in the current firmware: Version 1.0.0.6 (2014-04-17). Until DJI release a new version of the firmware that fixes this very well documented issue, aerial photographers such as myself can';t rely upon the unit to do what it says on the box. Very disappointing at this point in time but hope DJI pull their finger out and fix it asap.
