ControlThis

Just thought I would post it in case anyone was wondering why they could not get a GPS lock.

ControlThis

This was taken from FPV were I also posted the same thing. As airforce one is landing soon that would explain why they are testing it.

Its the Nato summit in Newport at the end of the month.. And my office is inside the security cordon, and we met with CTU (Not Jack Bower) last month.. I raised the topic of "drones" and they went away to look into it.. And then they came back a few days later to say that it had been "mitigated".

Now we are in August, everything is starting to kick off. Over the weekend the fences got errected around the venue (there are going to be 14km worth), and there are Police all over the place...

I just wonder whether is has anything to do with it??

Considering Obama will be here.. As well as 5000 support staff, 1500 press and upto 20,000 protestors.. They are going to great lengths to protect the venue!

Is this still an issue?
I broke my Gps cable to my APM 25 and thought I had fixed it.
Today I have a satellite symbol but no Satellites?!

180 Nautical Miles is 333km according to google, which would put the Channel Islands and a bit of northern France in the affected area...

Not sure wanting to check GPS on an APM would count as an emergency... ;)

(Of couse I could be totally wrong and misunderstood the whole thing...)
