Perishing anti jello balls!

Looking at the anti jello balls on my TL68A00 Tarot 2 axis gimbal they seem to be full of cracks and perishing quite badly.
They are used in compression on this type of gimbal and look like natural rubber to me.
The hole size seems to be 7mm.
I';m a bit concerned to replace them with the same Tarot make.
Has anyone else seen this and replaced them with synthetic rubber?

Friskle

I think quite few types are synthetic , as just pure rubber is prone to splitting under constant use.

There should be many choices to replace them with :)

The 7mm holes may make finding replacements a bit more tricky though, the standard gimbal ball size is for 9mm holes.

Im finding that ! Maybe i will have to take apart and drill out to 9mm

Easy enough to open them up. ~~

Says on the spec 7mm mounting, that would be the 100g ball.

Replaced my tarot damper balls with these and have to say they are rubbish compared with the tarot ones.

The whole assembly starts to vibrate now which it never did before. These seem to be like springs me than dampers :(

Fixed by inserting a nylon m3 hex spacer through each of the suspension balls which seems to work by cutting down the x y movement  Jello free now and doesnt oscillate like before.
