New Battery Tech On The Way

We keep reading about all manner of innovative battery tech that never gets to see the light of day.  Here';s one that may just do so.

Sakti3 have been talking up some new "solid state" Lithium battery tech that eschews the liquids and much of the complexity of a current day Lithium Ion battery.  Their intentions are to deploy the new battery into all manner of tech, including EVs. 

Will they achieve the Density and C ratings that we need?  In terms of density they have hit target.

Fingers crossed that they have cracked it.  Something needs to give for us to get out of this literal [battery] time warp.
