Today I decided to do a simulated BNUC test for my pending real one.

So rather than just go over the road like I normally do, we decided to go to a local village where we knew there were football pitched. The main gates were closed and padlocked. So we moved on to the next village where we knew there was a football pitch, albeit it in a much smaller area.

We put the signs up and began the test. We were soon joined by a nosey neighbour   :whistling: who we figured wanted to know what was going on. Being rude people, we pretty much carried on. When over-testing things a little, it is easy to lose track of time and the craft landed itself with a bit of a bounce on the centre circle. I could have claimed it was deliberate of course, but I think everything was overheard anyway.

On collection of the sturdy craft, I returned to hear the nosey neighbour asking my mate Dave some questions. Some of the questions seemed quite technical. This bloke knows way too much!!

After a little introduction, it turns out the interested party was none other than Stevefh from this site!!  :o And he was only visiting his Mum!!

Of all the places we could have chosen to take a last minute little test, we turn up just over the road with our F650s only to fly right outside the Mum';s house of a prominent member when he happened to be visiting.

Spooky!

Please to meet you Steve!  ~~
I may be dumb, but my learning curve is high...
