Looks great for an alternative but the big question is what is the av out light level like?  If it can provide decent output in low light conditions then gets the thumbs up.  Someone buy one and test it please lol

Seems more similar to the mobius than a gopro. Gopro exceeds in frame rate (and as mentioned, low light levels).

Good video camera, fine takes pictures and takes off, did a review with crosscutting, it will be better weather will hook on quadcopter and will take off a clip, if who interestingly. Boscam HD08A
