Is ESC recalibration needed if changing motors?

As per Subject heading, I plan to change my motors and am wondering if it';s necessary or prudent to recalibrate the ESC';s.

I';m guessing not but worth asking.

I';d say not as you';re only programming the throttle range :-)

It';s not necessary to recalibrate as you';re only programming the throttle range, but it would be prudent to check your ESC settings (timing, startup, etc).
