Sourcing metal standoffs/spacers?

Does anyone know where to find some cheap female-female 35 or 40mm metal standoffs/threaded spacers?

If not, nylon ones would be adequate. I';ve tried rs online and farnell but wanted to know if its possible to find cheaper ones else where.
