Help!

So Gimbal has arrived.

Looks good and seems fine but.............

I';m really confused as to what the GUI software is and what board it has installed. This is a picture of an identical board. Can anyone identify it. In the advert for it it stated ';BGC 2.2';

Am I right in thinking that for manual control of the pitch I use A0? And I connect this to the receiver on a spare channel inside the Phantom.





Sorry if these questions are obvious but I don';t want to fubar it on my first attempt!!

Hard to tell tbh.. looks like an Alexmos board ..   2.2 is an Alexmos version..

Install the Alexmos / Basecamp GUI and see what it says..

I have similar, yes, that is the pitch control.  I use simple BG to tune it.  Mine uses alexmos ************ , so won';t load latest firmware apparently, wich is cool as i don';t need it!
I';m not 100% about it being alexmos, i feel it may be a martinez board.  Either way, you';ll be able to do a calibration, and tune the gains if you need to that is.

Got it connected after downloading missing drivers from http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx

Seems to work ok. Just need the bloody quad to hang it off!! 1 week and counting!!!!

I have a same board but I can';t make it works, changed PID and everything, it can';t work.

Was a bit of a pain tweaking it but it';s fine now.

Mines the same board. It';s a Martinez board so you can use either open firmware or **********  firmware. I';ve tried both and I can';t get either to work properly. I can get one axis to work fine, but not both. Need to have another try.

Rather annoyed really at the amount of faffing about I';m having to do to get this to work. I';ve got a feeling I have a dodgy motor as I can swap, reset and the problem axis moves with the motor .

Julio if you need any help just ask. What can';t you get to work?
