Derelict Leicester I shot this last Sunday morning. Hoping to add to it this weekend. https://vimeo.com/m/84157680

Any tips or advice please.

Enjoyed this a lot !!! Some nice work, if i was gonna be ultra critical the only thing i found a little annoying was the slight over compensation on the yaw, apart from that very nice not at all boring just a nice five minute short !!!

All the best rob  :smiley: :smiley:
life is too short to worry about what others think !!!

Nice video, interesting subject and nicely shot.

Two consgtructive comments if I may;
1) Yaw, as has already been mentioned. I';d suggest practising the techique of slow yaw control, minute movements of the yaw stick and wait for the stick movement to manifest in the multi-rotor which often takes a brief moment at those small degrees of movement.

2) Subject positioning; Were you intending to focus our attention on the tree at the early part of the video when you first took us over the derelict building with no roof? If you were then thats okay. But it felt to me like the open topped building, the gable end, had the interest. So framing the subject in the centre of the frame will keep the viewers eye where you want them to look.

3) Gimbal control; Similar to yaw, develop the technique of pitching the gimbal smooth and slow so as not to jar the eye.

I find it amazing and really interesting what y';all find to FPV out there.  By comparison my own area seems uninteresting, very heavily populated, everything in use, and where it isn';t then fenced off and inaccessible (legally).  I need to venture deeper into Kent when the big yellow thing in the sky returns. ::)

Cheers Danny.  Framing should get better as I was flying that line of sight. But now have a 7" monitor mounted on my transmitter. Sunday is forecast cold n clear here in Leicester fingers crossed as already have some more locations sorted.
