How cheap?

Hk probably best bet, i';m currently using the FS pilot cam, it';s only 425 lines, but it';s fine for flying around with, and pretty small to boot.
Oh, it comes with plug & play cable as well, so no magic smoke here.

Sorry, says out of stock, a nice tiny camera if u can get one tho.

Or this one if you have a soldering iron, or servo cable crimping tool:

You can tell i';m bored!

Slight diy element her, but not rocket science.

No cheap  chickens tho';

There appears to be  a PROFESSIONAL  plastic hood for a 7" monitor screen on that section,  (Page 3) for £33..... if anyone is interested.  Looks like a rigid type.  May be adaptable for other monitors.
Let's be careful out there.
SAFETY is.. NO accident.

I think there are technically better cameras, but that';s what i use and it';s unbeatable for the price. The better cameras cost quite a lot more.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

Col_M

Yup, maybe a slight overdoing of the praise
Though you';re probably in the realm of diminishing returns if you spend any more, they';re definitely in the sweet spot having great image quality and wide dynamic range.

nub

power it straight off the 3S battery preferably via a LC filter.
Point and click.

Monkey see, Monkey do.

tony

lc filter ?? not sure what 1 of them dose ....whats a lc filter? would a ubec to 9v not do the same

tony

It';s a good camera Tony, I';m sure it won';t take that long from the States?
Are you going to put it in a case?  If so what sort?  Questions questions!

Cheers

Good choice, I have one on all my quads.

I don';t want to be the bearer of bad news but it doesn';t come with three lenses, it only comes with one that you need to select on the product page. If you didn';t specify then the default lens you';ll get is 3.6mm, I have 2.8mm on all of mine.

I';ve never used the 3.6mm lens so can';t comment on how it is on a quad, I don';t think it';ll be the end of the world though. If you don';t get on with it you can always buy a 2.8mm lens for not much money.

If you';re quick and raise a ticket with Securitycamera2000 you may be able to get the 2.8mm lens swapped in before it ships.

did you get the bits robin have they arrived yet what';s the ETA on them would love to hear the out come that camera is tiny if you can cut the chunky wires off and replaces with servo type wires that would be supper light fpv camera y camera has a mettle case and its very heavy  please keep us posted the camera i got is good it has issues with light and dack takes a second are 2 to adjust so easy to live with and the picture i see on the fatsharks is reasonable

dirtyharry

I used this on my tricopter and it was surprisingly good for the price. Its got a really nice small size / a sturdy case and has a wide dynamic range setting

You just need to specify 2.8mm lens when you buy it to get the best viewing angle.

You can also unplug the bulky set-up cable and connect straight to the camera , I think mine came with the spare molex plug to do it as well.
