I think that sort of thing is not too uncommon with Heli pilots, seems to be quite a few skilful ones out there................ unlike this idiot!

I wonder if he panicked and froze. He didn';t seem to be doing very much other than looking to his right all of the time (fair enough when banking) but no apparent awareness that he was losing height. If we can see that in the video surely he';d have from the cockpit seat.    :slap:

Wow amazing videos....

The first one I can see it already what will go wrong. 

Whatever mechanism he is using to release the payload fails: he goes whizzing back fully committed still attached to the payload in the lorry..  It gets snagged on the side and he gets pulled down to the ground and BOOM!

Really impressive but I';d say doing it over and over one day the accident would deffo happen, but since its Chrismas trees I guess it';s just seasonal and isint going on most of the year.


Impressive non the less!
