RCT Brushless Board not Saving PID's

OK so i';ve converted my Tarot 2d to use the RCtimer Brushless controller to try and get rid of the horizon drift plaguing the gimbal.

Flashed the board with 049 R161 and hooked up the motors.

After calibration roll is working perfectly on defaut settings but pitch is shaking about all over the place.

With the GUI hooked up i can get pitch under controll and working with P=9 I=10 D=14  and PMW 23

So I hit save and lights flash on the board but as soon as I disconnect and re boot the board is going back to defaults  :banghead:

Has anyone else encountered this issue ??
