Just bought one of these, pretty damn good for the money.  The li-ion batteries charge in about an hour or so (tho haven';t timed them yet!).  Placed one in the gopro and the display says 6 hrs odd!  Maybe a little optimistic, but for £16 all in for 3, no excuse to run out at the field/shoot again.  They';re 1350 mah, which i believe is 25-30%more than my standard slightly exhausted original.

I bought a couple of cheap ebay gopro batteries a while back and they';re so much better than the crap official one that came with my camera. I don';t even use the official one any more!

I bought a set of third party batteries and they are superb. As you say, great to have a set of charged spares while out and about. I swap them out when FPV';ing as the battery drops to about 25℅ as shown in the GoPro';s OSD. Works well for me

I also purchased one of these, but I';ve probably charged about 10 times using it now and whatever detects that the battery is slotted in correctly is not working as well as it did so I';m a bit disappointed by that.

I tested these batteries yesterday from 100% to flat whilst recording. I got 55mins recording 1080p / 60fps / Wide. This was pointed at a static object though so maybe less if there was tonnes of movement. I have not tested a genuine GoPro battery, but a quick search results someone doing a test 1080p / 30fps and he gets 1h 36mins. But remember this is at 30fps so it';s not a fair comparison.

Sounds like u got a duffer ther amorgos.  Tbh, £15 for 3 batt';s plus charger is pretty hard to beat.  If it had been more like £80 or so for genuine gopro stuff i';d have maybe been more subjective!
As it is, it';s a cheap solution for never running out of power at the field/location again.

Agreed. Genuine GoPro batteries are insanely expensive for what they are and this price is well worth it. I got 55mins recording, so that';s a very very cautious 3 lipos worth of flight time with breaks inbetween for my quad.
