If you want pure silicon spray, wait till lidl get it in on there car deal days. Its like £1 a can, i used to buy loads of it for my airsoft gearboxes etc, as it was safe on rubbers.

Silicon spray isn';t a lubricant, it disperses water/moisture as I said before PTFE - it';s the best DRY lubricant you can get, you don';t want wet lubricant because it attracts dust and grime and turns into something akin to cutting paste!

Was just saying a good place to buy cheep silicone spray for other uses.
