First time i';ve read that, it';s a real good reference, easy to forget some of that stuff uf u haven';t set one of the little devil';s up of late.

One thing i did notice tho, I';m pretty sure dji say to hold the craft nose downward on second rotation of gps calibration, not horizontal, or on it';s side as the ';gouge'; says.

I can confirm that the compass calibration says nose down on the dji wiki for the M V2
but the Lite says horizontal ?

Thanks ShyfX

I have downloaded and just read through. Very interesting. In this PDF it demonstrates how to measure the Z axis. From bottom of the FC to the top of the GPS. Whereas in the DJI instructions it is measured from the Middle of the FC to the middle of the GPS dome, only a small inaccuracy but room for thought........

Sweet Pickle

LOL read the title and I expected to look in and see a JPG of a NAZA GPS unit with a big gouge in it... like mine where it crashed most spectacularly the other week.

I think that my next purchase will be a Naza. This certainly is good reading for a newby potential buyer (like me). ::)

This brief packet amplifies what is mentioned in the Naza Users manual and hopefully will help clear up
some basic questions. In the military there is a term for information like this called GOUGE. Many times
people would take a complicated flight manual and come out with their own GOUGE to put it into
simpler terms.
