Cracking idea but hard to justify the price. I appreciate a lot of work and time goes I to these 3d printed parts tho I guess.

Hi all, im stefan

didnt know this forum existed but they are my designs.
let me clear a few points up....

The anti jello mount is expensive because of the silicon mounts (silicon not cheap rubber i may add) and  they cost me nearly 5 quid per mount and theres four of them. one youve taken all of the ebay ,paypal and worldwide free postage into the equation i earn under 18 quid per unit for all my hard work designing and testing. once i find a cheaper supplier of the silicon mounts the price will drop but untill i do thats the way it is ,sorry .If anyone knows of anyone let me know.

The mount that i have on thingyverse is not the same, with that one you have to anti vibe the camera and lots of people have probs with achieving that so the best one is the design i sell as it works from the moment you fit it. (use moon gel on the camera if using the thingyverse download)

I designed 5 different adapters before i had one that worked great .

Ps, jumpy hope your not selling my designs that i put up on a non commercial free download. that would not very sporting and you should draw your own buddy, heres the link to what creative commons means

im not trying to teach you to suck eggs but its worth a read so you understand. but.......
im all for sharing or i wouldnt put my stuff out for free download but i am against people taking my work for profit, you could have messaged me at any time on thingyverse and i would clear this up for you.

i have loads of designs and im always putting them up for peeps to enjoy, change ,diss or love......i have a big chin ,i can take it. but for the most part people enjoy and I always welcome suggestions etc. just dont rip me off , fair enough i think...

Im off to have a peruse around this forum and see what your all up to.

Kind regards
Stefan Mirfin

Stefan, welcome to the forum..

Well aware of commercial use and no not your design..  I just linked to show the style as didn';t have pic to hand. I  did some work with Nathan on his design a while back.. and have quite a few bits designed bits for the TBS..

Have stopped putting designs on Thingiverse as they all end up on Shapeways with someone stealing them and making money    trying to get Shapeways to remove them is impossible..

Hope i didnt come accross too poopoo face ,ive had the shapeways battle as well ,i know your pain lol ~~.But, good forum you have here for people with a persuasion for more than one propellor, lol. Yes i still put stuff on thingyverse but not my newest designs, just ones that work or take way to long to print for me to sell.

the rubber in the link is not too good at absorbing the right frequencies for the gimbals ive tried or built ,prob great for controllers but jello at 1080 is a bitch. Ive tested loads of the blighters but the bobbins i use are  a certain grade  siliconthat has the right squishiness vs support and they worked perfectly from the first try so i stuck with them. believe it or not they had even better dampers that were 15 quid each  :o but i thought that was way too much. I still have to source them from the states so thats why the price is poo ,but saying that they work superb so i went with them. Ive incorporated them into my quad designs that are 3d prints but at the mo im making a cool micro fpv racer ive printed (well half of it lol) ill have show you guys. Its built around an cc3d and some ripping little 3000kv micro t motors and esc';s with 1.2GHz nano fpv system.

i will say that if anyone here wants a gimbal adapter i can do you  forum special of a 35 quid each as it gets the costs down for you and me. sorry to plug  or if you want bobbins for your own projects let me know.

Merry xmas peeps

stefan

No issues Stefan..

Stick an advert in the classifieds.. people on here always looking for bits.

There are a few of us on here with 3D printers.. and some good people at design as well..

I used to help people with printing stuff at cost, but don';t have the time much anymore, and most don';t appreciate how long it takes

Would love one of these mounts but for a Tarot gimbal, the Tarot mount is great but hangs down below the quad so you have to extend the legs and the whole profile of the quad gets massive. This in-turn slows the craft down and give you less total distance, i would have thought that the Tarot version would sell very well because of the amount of these gimbals out there. The Tarot does not have any screws on the outside of the motor which is a pain.
