Why do you use a UBEC? doesn't the board accept a 12v input from 3s lipos.

The man serving me in the canteen said "Look, You can see the face of Jesus in the Margarine" The Asian guy next to me replied "I can't believe it's not Budda"

The reason for the Ubec is when I had the Black Vortex and it had a voltage reg on board it would get very hot when connected to a 3s pack so I used to use the Ubec on that and nothing ever got warm never mind hot  :rolleyes:
I just think its safer to connect that way  ~~

Anyone who has downloaded the manual please delete it and re-download as I have used a better pdf converter and the images are not now blurred  :rolleyes:

Excellent job Gary. :goodpost:
2 Questions
1 - You dont try MP
2 - Rabbit Gps work with this board

Thanks

secretman

You can use any serial Gps with the AIOP probably yes lol

Hi Sakis your rabbit gps will deff work with the AOIP and I have tried MegapirateNG on the AIOP and it runs very well but wanted to concentrate my efforts in to sorting multi wii out first  ~~

If your getting one and going to use your rabbit gps then you should down load the firmware I already patched for the ublox gps with no eeprom like the rabbit gps and the cn06 v1  ~~

Having just ordered one of these AIO Pro boards, is there something else I need to hook up the power to it, or is it specific to your config

Is there a UK warehouse option available, I have an order "waiting" so would be useful to be able to add to it.

Tried to follow the manual...copy the arduino  1.0.4 to the docs folder, make an Arduino folder in the docs folder, unzip there the MultiWii_2_2 _AIOP.zip, added the docs/arduino folder in the files/preferences as sketchbook folder, and if I go to the files/sketchbook I can select only the Multiwii_AIOP / MultiwiiConf and it opens the config.h ONLY... ??? so no other tabs there...

what I';m doing wrong??

Many thanks,
B

Hi Gaza,

Could it be that the pdf page 2 incorrectly shows pin 32 as being a cam roll (and pin 33 as cam pitch) when pin 32 is a buzzer/pilotlamp pin? i.e. PORTC Bit 5?

Pin 33 isn';t used unless you';re not using the "#define CRIUS_AIO_PRO_V1", in which case it defaults servos 1-3 as cam trig -> pin 33 and pin 46, cam roll -> pin 35 and pin 45 , cam pitch -> pin 34 and pin 44. The "#define CRIUS_AIO_PRO_V1" just rewrites the servos 1-3 default pins so they are pins 44, 45 and 46 respectively.

from def.h:
#if defined(CRIUS_AIO_PRO_V1)
  #define MPU6050
  #define HMC5883
  #define MS561101BA

Hi Felix the legends used were just clones of what is printed on underside of the actual board but the manual is very old now and could do with being updated to also include the AIOP v2,
You dont want a job do you  :rolleyes:  ~~
I have been planning on doing a new manual for some time but its just getting round to it if I do create a new one I would like to have some one like your self check it over for errors  ~~

Hi,

Sure, Send the doc file my way and I';ll update it and get it back to you. I';m no graphics whiz but more than happy to do some updates. I was also intending to do the voltage and current monitoring side of things too.. need to get a round tuit  :rolleyes: I have both a v1.1 and a v2 board.. so can add in the relevant pieces/differences for both or split them out to separate docs or whatever....

Gaza07

I will try to sort something out this week and send it to you to have a look at  ~~  :beer2:
