Crossfire lq/rssi problem

right after much playing i cant get the lq to display correct details onto my osd!!
I've bound it all and it flies perfect. All the telemetry is correct on the display screen when you set it up. RQLY 100% and the rest display correct values. But when i set the aux 8 to rssi channel it displays between 30-40 value!! i'm pretty sure i've missed a step out as i know there is a value that needs to be set to 300% for the LQ display but i dont know how?!?!
If anyone can help it'd be much appreciated
