As title, just been looking at Diversity Receiver Systems for my goggles. Is there any ones to avoid, which ones are good ? Some are £30 to £130    :help:

This seems to get great reviews https://www.hobbyrc.co.uk/realacc-rx5808-pro-fatshark-diversity-module-with-achille%CF%83-firmware They install the Achille Firmware so you dont need to mess about @£55 they are very slightly cheaper. If the reviews are to be believed they are better!!!
I try :-)

There has been a bit of a debate on modules atm amongst a few forum users,
I use true d on both my goggles and am completely happy with them, as does cornishmule
Jakalas does the same but has some problems we are gonna try eliminating the hardware at bfu6
Lamaule uses some cheap banggood tat with the Achille software in it, I think from memory he is looking at upgrading

Much better to get personal recommendations from people who have no financial stake in which module you buy. I do feel that sometimes YouTube reviews are not completely unbiased as sometimes they don't pay for tech or they earn from using links.

Try and get to the meet next week.
I try :-)

I looked at that but it's been out of stock for months.

BangGood have them at about £43 with Achille FW but that will take a few weeks to arrive!
Just noticed with standard FW it is £35! + Achille FW which works out more!!!!
I try :-)

Oi! - I shelled out £8 for that tat! [emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23]

Plus I've heard of people going out a couple of miles on an Omni with it. (Not me of course) [emoji1][emoji56]

I thought I saw a problem with the glass cracking in one of the videos.

So far the True D looks good at £60, next is La Forge seperate modules at £100 http://droneislife.co.uk/fpv/Laforge-V4-Diversity-Set If I could only afford the Clearview  :(

Cheredanine

Take a look at josh bard wells current blind test mate, may help, also consider where you are fly8ng, for many pilots pretty much all will work

trebor

Ive gone off La forge now as the plasic covers for the modules look tat and dont clip back in the body of the goggles that well.
