Flysky mode 1 and mode 2 on buddy box

I have a very good friend that is going to setup my C1 chaser wing and maiden it, he is strict mode 1 and i am mode 2, the plan is to use a pair of flysky FS i6 tx`s on buddy lead ....will this work with the trainer in mode 1 and the student in mode 2?

I think you will have trouble  with this as   both t/x  have to have the same settings. Just to be sure  I would create a new model in the mode 1  t/x  and set up the same as mode 2 . connect the cable and  see if the stick movements  correspond.

Thats all i can do, set it up and see if it all works
