Hi all,
This will be my first ever post, no doubt many more to follow.

I';m a total noob.

I';ve been given a DJI s1000, without a radio
So I';ve been trying to test the fight system.
I';ve plugged the A2 into my PC and upgraded the firmware.

However I want to do a motor test. But get no
Response from them when I click the test button.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

Cheers in advance.

First thing  props off!!  Although not familiar with the A2 I would say there is  failsafe setting  if no radio has been bound to the f/c it won';t  play ball, also you will need to connect a battery.

Thanks for the quick response hoverfly.

Is there anyway to test the motors without them being connected to the flight controller.

One way to test them is to take the signal wires from the esc and plug them into a receiver, or a servo tester. However to do this you will need a radio, and with the servo tester a separate ubec power supply as i suspect the DJI  esc are opto ..
Not that helpful i';m afraid,  I had a quick trawl through various forums and it seems lots of people have had this problem, try resetting the minimum signal to motors  in the assistant. :crossfingers:

edit, do you have dji esc?

Yes I think.
The esc is attached under the motor.
I';ve taken it apart and on the board states
E800 EVO BLDC V8 the motors are 4114 pro

I';m just checking for any breaks in the ground and signal wires.

edit:
If i understand the "term opto" then yes I believe they are. they have a separate connector for power.
