Naza V2 drift (non GPS)

Hi,

This is my first dumb question after joining this site some time ago. I';ve gone from not knowing what "binding" is to setting up and flying (crashing) two quads both of which I repair regularly (the oak trees in Wales are very quick).

Yesterday I took delivery of a 2nd hand F550 with a Naza V2 (not the updated lite). The details are here..  [urlhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dji-550-Drone-/122593732636?nma=true&si=JisOudKxwx6x5KVXGZlu8s2EHxU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557][/url] . I';ve taken the gimbal off to make crashes less expensive and reduce unnecessary weight.

I';ve got a 3s 45000 30c battery and standard e300 props, Turnigy i10 tx (don';t laugh) and a turnigy i10 rx. I have taken the GPS off and am just flying in Atti mode at the moment.

The problem I have is that it is drifting to the right; the pitch is about 5 degrees. It';s still flyable if I compensate with the tx stick but it';s annoying and I want to sort it out. I';ve tried adjusting the subtrims as far as I can but it doesn';t make any difference. Gains are at 125% in the assistant.

Something else that was weird is that I had to reverse the same channel on my first flight attempt. This has never happened before despite using the same tx and rx on my quads (both used a Naza Lite with V2 flash).

I';ve checked that all the arms and motors are tight and nothing is damaged or bent.

Other than that, it flies lovely apart from a very small drift on the yaw.

Any idea';s? And sorry if it';s a dumb question but my brain his hurting.
Absolute beginner.

Try re-calibrating level this should sort most of the drift., trims should not be used  on quads.
Reptile folder , alien 500 , F/ Shark Attitudes,

Massive over draught.....

Cheredanine

As above, also check what your rc command on roll is, it seems probable that your roll stick is sending slightly over mid point, whilst hoverfly is right, trim shouldn';t be needed, it does need to be set right in the subtrim

Thanks Hoverfly & Cheredanine..... they were out. Not sure how I managed to miss that  :embarrassed Maybe it';s the excitement of having 6 props to crash instead of four.

It';s holding attitude much better now (considering the wind we have today) but I';ve noticed one motor has a little more friction than the rest. I did wonder if that was contributing to it.
Absolute beginner.
