Making no apologies for ripping off the author';s title of his Vlog on YouTube, the fella done well  ~~

So a few times out with the Mavic Pro I have experienced video signal loss. The icon on the status bar goes Red for the video signal, screen goes black and only because I';m in LOS am I able to reasonably control the flight back without having to invoke RTH.

The problem appears to be the stock USB cable that is supplied with the controller.  I don';t actually see what the issue is, mine looks fine on the outside, but perhaps there are hairline breaks in the internal wiring or attenuation caused by same.  In any event, I ended up removing the phone, re-mounting it and restarting the DJI Go 4 app.  Sometimes I had to do that a few times to get the video to stay operational.  It would normally fail after a few seconds of app start or as arming.

Taking the advice of the Vlogger I have picked up an Anker PowerLine+ Lightning Cable (1ft) from Amazon for just under a tenner.  Mostly for the claimed robustness, I do have a few regular 1ft Lightning cables at home but didn';t want to take the chance with £1,300 worth of gear.
