Motor Symptom

Some time ago one of my Diatone ET 150s jigged a bit and then went completely dead on the front left motor.

DYS BE1104 4000kV, Bl Heli M10A (sold as a set).

Traced to the ESC, but as I had spares and the motor might have taken out the ESC I changed to a new motor as well as the ESC. Different prop, too.

It has not been used much as others to play with, but I got it out the other day, and the front left motor was initially reluctant to start, then was "jiggy" at low throttle. Once running above low throttle setting it was OK, smooth throttling, normal noise and flew the quad perfectly well.

Motor Temp was low on all (and evenly balanced).

Static, there was no unusual resistance to rotation and the magnetic cogging appeared the same as the others.

No obvious dry joints (which in any event had all been remade when the units were swapped)

Puzzling to get any issue these days, and why its seemingly the same corner?

You have probably already done this but I did you calibrate the escs?
Motor screws not too long?
Try swapping diagonal motors and see if fault follows motor or stays with esc.
I try :-)

Bad Raven

Screws I';m very careful about, having been caught out years ago.

Calibration - might be worth doing again, thanks.

Also the minimum motor speed setting might need tweeking for new motor.

Remember Props OFF!!!
I try :-)

Cheredanine

Min throttle on the esc will be reset by calibration mate, complete
Y agree with the calibration suggestion
