Nothing as yet just looking through the manual.. See if anything added there..

Only change I noticed was the toilet bowl effect - remedy: rotate the GPS!

Assistant software version has jumped from 1.36 to 2.00 - no obvious change in menus or screens, maybe the big jump is to do with new algorithms behind the scenes.

I now have a major sense of humour failure.

Software upgrade fine, now running v2.00, manual has yet to catch up with the screens it displays. It decided that it would upgrade the firmware to 5.22, did so, reported success and then told me I had a config error.

All I got from the controller was a continual blinking red LED, the wee LED on the contoller itself was glowing steady red. Comunnication between PC and Controller showing ok in Assistant.

Tried rebooting everything, tried reapplying firmware - success notice for applying, config error when finished. Set controller at default in software and re-entered every parameter. Still have config error and flashing red main LED.

Any ideas?

It';s not looking for a bluetooth adapter is it? (Which I don';t want as I have an Android phone)

Just as well it';s too windy to fly outside else I would be in a right old strop ...

I';ve not updated on WKM as yet.. Will try this evening..

I worse case scenario do you still have the 5.20 download on your PC is so it will be possible to roll-back to this and the firmware will roll back with it..

If you don';t have the software let me know I may have a copy on my laptop I can link to you..

I wouldn';t think this is due to the bluetooth setup as most people will not have this function and will still need to upgrade..

When looking at the IMU do you have a red light on this? It should have..  If not could be a firmware failure.

Hi Vin,

As I understand it there should be steady red on controller, IMU has no LED and there is nothing in 5.22 that affects it anyway. But I have been known to be wrong.

Tried again to sort it and just about to download Assistant v1.36 from DJI and try to revert to firmware 5.2 - still available on the downloads page. This seems to have been a case of "if it ain';t broke" being ignored by me

I have upgraded both Assistant and firmware before with no hassles. So what was different?

I had added the telemetry unit that came with the ';copter so as to monitor voltage (especially when I get brave enough to fly over water)

This plugs into the bind port on the AR8000 rx.

Unplug the telemetry unit, revert firmware to 5.20, back to normal. Have I learnt a lesson? 

NO!

While the TM1000 is disconnected and the laptop has battery life it';s Assistant 2.00, firmware 5.22 here we come

Lol glad all sorted.  Little confused as I have the telemetry unit as well and GPS spectrum linking in I';ve done updates before with this all connected strange.. Sorry your correct didn';t mean IMU meant controller and this should be constant red light.. If a firmware fails this  normally has no light.. And you have to so a complete reset on system..

Will try mine a little later to see what happens.. Must admit weather is looking good for the weekend so may leave alone lol
