flight controller won't communicate with clean flight

The infamous "No configuration received within 10 seconds, communication failed".

I';m using x-racer f303 FC and I';ve been able to connect to clean flight before. When I had issues with binding my receiver I thought I should flash the firmware. I did that successfully, at least Cleanflight says I did, but now I can';t get my FC to communicate with Cleanflight now. The blue light stays on whenever it';s connected via USP or battery and I never saw the red light flash after flashing. I';ve flashed multiple times but nothing works and I';m not sure what';s wrong. Any ideas? Also, whenever I connect to my computer (which is a mac) the USP port says: dev/cu.SLAB_USBtoUART. I don';t know if that has to do with it or not. I';ve been working on this all day and don';t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

The chances are it';s a VCP driver issue. I';m a Windows guy so I don';t know which you need for a Mac, but that';s what I';d be reading up on if I was you. Have a watch of this, it may help..
