MJX X600 Upgrades?

Hi,
I just joined the site. Recently my wife gave in and let me buy an MJX X600 as my first ';proper'; multirotor. I hope its ok to call it a proper one, anyway I think I';m pretty hooked on this and specifically I';d like to be able to combine this with my photography interest.

First flight out I put it in a tree but since then I';ve been getting better and as a result its flying nicer but the C4008 camera is not good. I want to take some nice vids & photos and I thought I could mount my SJ4000 action cam to it but on testing I find it cannot lift the 50g camera plus another 120-200g for a 2D gimbal. I tested with a 160g banana and it barely took off.

Is it possible to upgrade the X600 to produce more lift? If not I guess I';m going to build my own multirotor later in the year, in which case... can you point me towards some guides so I can plan this out properly and make sure I end up with enough lift for my needs. Are there good parts store online or close to portsmouth/chichester?

many thanks for reading and for any advice you can give. Tonight I am going to scour the forums for information but right now I have to get back to work!

Hi and welcome  There isn';t really much you can do to upgrade this kinda craft, it is pretty much a toy grade item. If you were to upgrade to props to get more thrust, the motors and or ESCs would likey burn out. They';re ok to get you flying but as you';ve discovered they';re pretty limited. Time to move on to something bigger and better!
