Afternoon guys,

I have powered on my drone for the first time at home to take some videos off it and it says I';m in a band d no fly zone. No idea what this means and can';t find any reference to it anywhere online. Anyone got any websites which give simple to understand rules for no fly zones.

There are a few places locally that I would like to go and film but I am near ish to Manchester airport. Approx 3 miles as the drone flys and not on the main flight paths.

Thanks

Steve

I found that website but for the Manchester airport no fly zone it shows it';s massive and it doesn';t give a proper breakdown of the bandings

The banding are listed at the bottom, the fact your drone app is using something else is neither here nor there. And yes it is massive, unfortunately thems he breaks

I';ll have to have a look on something apart from my phone the writing is coming up grey on grey so not really legible.

Thanks for the link though

No it';s ok I prefer to not fly than fly dangerous just means I have a 20 minutes journey before I can fly
