Hi all

Already need replacement props..... don';t ask - tree vs drone and tree won (breaking all 4 props - no other damage)

Are the Bullnose 6045 props any good compared to the DAL racing props

Thx

Saleem

6045,seems big prop, theres loads of props you can try its kust a matter of buting the prop you think you fly better with for longer.the biggest prop i ever tried was 5040 on a 250 sized quad.

Just replacing the props that came as part of the bundle with like-for-like.  Only diff is the Bullnose thing..... (cheaper as well)

DerbyshireDrones

a 5045BN (Bullnose) is about the equivalent of a regular 6045, we have both 6045 and 5045 dals as well as 6045 HQ clones if your interested: http://derbyshiredrones.net/product-category/propellers/

The reason they are cheaper might be because they are trying to get rid as they are such a strange size.

I replaced props on my NH 280 with bull nose and it really didn';t like them.  I changed back to a conventional shape 2 blade prop and it was back to top form again.

I';m now running 3 bladers  (DAL T5040 V2) which work well.

RCLife usually have stocks of the original EMax units should you prefer to stay as original.

Wow.  Great forum - quick replies (considering it';s NYE  ~~ )

@Bad Raven:  had a look on RCLife and nothing in stock  :(

Have ordered 3 sets of props from FirstPersonView to offset postage costs  :o

Cheredanine

Yeah bullnosed props give more power but pull way more amps, get some dal 6040s would be my suggestion, hobbyrc used to stock

philtrum

I';ve got plenty of different types for the Nighthawk 280 mate
