hi nate,

sorry, replied at same time, does that help above?

Hi,

Not really, but you appear to have received a decent amount of responses anyway, which I hope are useful.

I';m sure you';d agree that it would probably have shown better courtesy to the many helpful members of this forum if you';d openly provided information about who you are conducting this research for and for what purpose.  Personally I find the lack of this basic info both interesting and slightly off putting, but that';s just me.

A close friend of mine works for a UK Police force and has been personally involved in research and analysis of UAV';s; the threats they pose, the opportunities they raise and the value they may provide the governmental security services.  Research conducted involved a deep study of the many technologies being used by drone engineers today, one-to-one communication with some of the world';s pioneering drone designers, and a hefty investment in multiple pieces of UAV equipment for local testing.  They would never have compromised their research or employment by blindly requesting help from Multi-rotor enthusiasts on a public forum, and neither would/should anyone who is charged with protecting their employer or their intentions.

I trust you can appreciate that this is the reason it is somewhat off-putting that you appear somewhat unwilling to outline exactly who has tasked you with research and testing, and what the intended purpose of your investigation is.
