Having snapped my FeiYu Tech Mini 3D Gimbal multiple times now (not even on a crash! more a moderately rough landing) i decided I was getting a bit fed up just gluing the thing back together. I spent a while looking online for spares but it appears FeiYu Tech dont sell them!

The design is just poor! Which is why I guess they now do the Mini 3D Pro which has a nice aluminium machined support in place of the plastic one on the standard.

Finally found some time today to start modelling up a 3D printable replacement for the part, its still in progress but here it is so far:

Anyone else also snapped theirs?

shazzy

I too snapped mine. Managed to get the aluminium upgrade parts from the manufacturer.

Will you be sharing the stl files?

Hi Shazzy, yes once I get the part right and it works I will share on thingiverse.

How did you manage to get hold of the parts? Did you contact manufacturer directly? I read somewhere that people tried but didnt manage so I didnt try..

I ordered the alloy parts from the manufacturer also.  Only had to pay the shipping, they didn';t charge me for the parts.  Took about 1 week for them to arrive from China.
I fly stuff
