Hi all,
I';m in a bit of a dilemma.
I drive to the Moray coast in Scotland on Saturday and I';m desperate to take a Multicopter/Drone  with me.
Looking to spend max £750 for new or used.
I have looked at all the DJI versions but don';t know which one to go for.
I really would like the Mavic Pro but it';s not out till November
Any idea';s would be appreciated.
I have had two Qx';s in the past so would prefer something more up market.
Thanks
Dave

If you intend to get the Mavic then I would say to go for a Phantom 3 std or maybe the Advanced, you should be able to get either in your budget.

If you can push the budget, I';d say the mavic should be the only option. Quite simply its just better. Here is flitetest';s review: http://flitetest.com/articles/dji-mavic-pro-review

I';d agree with both of the above  ;)   Either the Phantom 3 Advanced, Phantom 4 if you fancy the latest tech (as was) or the Mavic for that ultra-portability.  The FliteTest lads are to be trusted, they';re very honest about their reviews and certainly know their stuff.  They gave the Mavic pretty much a 10/10 throughout, which is extraordinary.

But with a Saturday deadline you really don';t have the Mavic as a choice... For your budget it';s the P3 or P3A if you can lay hands on one that quick.

You should have no issue finding a second hand Phantom 3/4 at the mo. Loads of people have sold or are selling theirs to get the Mavic. There are loads on eBay ;)

There are a ton of people offloading phantom 3 advanced and professionals now the mavic is coming. I wouldn';t bother with standard.
Professionals are selling for 700 or lower with extra batteries etc and advanced even less. Unless you really need 4k video the advanced has identical functionality just max 2.7k video and slightly lower bandwidth on lightbridge but at these prices you are still getting a bargain.

There is a Facebook group for uk dji sales and a few phantom 3 groups people are selling on they seem to be popping up daily.

Thanks for the advice.
I';m going to get a Mavic Pro when I get back.I don';t think its worth getting a used P3 for the money they are going for on fleabay.
Cheers
