I have one of these, Spektrum type. I have bound it to my DX9 successfully.

What I cannot do is get the motors working under control.  I have read that the default signal range of 1000 to 2000 is too much for some Tx, but adjusting has not gained controlled action.

I cannot get the FC to arm. On power up the green LED goes through the expected flashes, then stays off.

While initially the motors would not run at all (unsurprising when its not arming!), its now running all four motors as soon as the battery is connected, seems around half throttle, does not alter motors speed with quad attitude.

Any ideas please?

Cleanflight settings will require a change in cli with the following command: set_motor_pwm_rate=32000. I';m probably going to be buying more of these.

Found the above on one of the forums . might help. :crossfingers:

Nope...............

Its confusing as the three LEDS, red/green/blue, do not work as per a "normal" FC like a Nase32.  The red LED appears to be solely Rx related as per any other Spektrum Rx.  The blue LED works as a mode light, off for manual/rate, on for Angle and Horizon. The green light does the usual Nase type flashes on power up before going out. I just cannot at present get it to arm, which I';m assuming would be green LED on steady.

I';d read that the throttle needed to be more than 100% travel both ways, and a couple of places said 125%, but when I did that it still didn';t work, so I moved on. Part of why was because I knew the DX7 limit was 125% and didn';t realise that the DX9 has 140% max.

So, realising that mistake, I set 140% and it arms and flies.

I have used this controller on a ducted prop 3D printed 100mm "X" frame "Whoopee" with 8.5mm motors and 60mm props. Tried a 950mAh 1S but that was too heavy and stunted performance, so dropped to a 600mAh 1S which appears OK while carrying a de-cased Eachine micro FPV
