Hi I';m kinda new to the forum but thought to show my build :-)

It started out as your basic f450 eBay special but I can';t help but tinker with it ....the frame i made weighs just 260 grams and is about 470cm from corner to corner , I';m using 1150 (or something like that) carbon fibre props on cheap 1000kv motors and 30a generic ESC , all run by APM 2.6 with GPS , I use 2 batteries and have a fpv and 3dr setup still to fix to the frame , initial test flight went well but need to fine tune a little more ....well...hope you like it .

Here was mk 1 of the frame ....didn';t take any measurements and it ended up being close to 630cm from corner to corner weighing in at 490 grams

A tad too big for the motors and props I';m using , may keep it for a future project

Also I got to point out its not an actual ecks frame ....just one I made with the ecks as inspiration

I was gonna do a 3d printed version of the ecks, using two boards and sandwiching the electronics inbetween but as with everything I plan....... I soon changed my mind

seein this though makes me wanna design a micro sandwich version, might be a bit of a laugh on small brushless or even brushed motors on a 150 or smaller. ~~
